Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking compassionate care staff to provide personal care and support to residents in our home. You will assist with washing, dressing, grooming and meals, helping residents stay nourished and comfortable while promoting independence.

We value empathy, a positive attitude and good communication. Full training is provided, with 18+ eligibility and required DBS/Police checks as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full training provided.
• Empathetic with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Aged 18 or over to apply.
• Overseas police check may be required; enhanced DBS check will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Support daily activities to promote independence.
• Build professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Job description

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.

• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person- centred care
  It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
