Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assist with washing, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Daily Living Support: help with everyday tasks and encourage independence.
• Medication Support: assist with or administer medication as trained and authorised.
• Meal and Hydration Support: help with meals and drinks to meet nutritional needs.
• Mobility Assistance: support safe movement and transfers with equipment as required.
• Companionship: provide emotional support and social engagement.
• Monitoring Health: observe changes and report concerns to senior care team.
• Care Planning: follow care plans and contribute to reviews.
• Record Keeping: maintain daily care notes and report incidents.
• Safeguarding: protect residents and follow safety procedures.
• Activities and Engagement: encourage participation in activities.
• Teamwork: collaborate with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
• Infection Control: follow hygiene and infection prevention procedures.
