Job summary

McCarthy & Stone, the UK retirement living specialist, are recruiting a Care Assistant for Violet Place in Bagshot, Surrey. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care and domestic support to residents, including apartment cleans and helping with wellbeing activities.

You will support residents with appointments, transport, and day-to-day tasks, with shifts across 7:00am–10:00pm and 20 hours per week. This position offers participating in a friendly team and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or support environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A passion for wellbeing of older people and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate.
• Assist residents with appointments, transport, and errands.
• Encourage participation in activities supporting health and wellbeing.
• Escort residents on visits when required.
• Help with shopping and apartment cleans.
