• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and colleagues.
• Be an efficient worker who can follow instructions from team members.
• Able to be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care for residents and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure, falls, infections and escalate appropriately.
• Act courteously toward residents and visitors, maintaining dignity and individuality of each resident.
