Job summary

Rosebery Manor Care Home in Epsom is seeking a warm, dedicated Care Assistant (Bank) to support residents with high-quality personal care. You will join a close-knit team with induction and ongoing training, helping ensure consistent service across shifts.

Applicants should be able to communicate well, show initiative, be respectful, and adapt to short-notice changes. DBS disclosure will be funded by Avery; eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and staff.
• Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Identify and escalate risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls or infections.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, preserving dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks.
