Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant for Sonning Gardens Care Home in Reading, Berkshire. You will support residents with daily personal care, ensuring dignity, independence and kindness in a small, team-focused environment.

Experience is not required as a thorough induction and training programme is provided to build confidence and competence in all duties. DBS checks and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualificações

• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful to residents and staff.
• Efficient worker who can follow instructions from team members.
• Able to adapt and cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support residents’ needs.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene to maintain independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify and escalate clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections).
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
