Job summary

Wood Care Group is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with personal care and daily activities. You will help with washing, dressing, meals and overall wellbeing, working in a supportive team environment.

We welcome applicants with or without prior care experience and provide full training to develop your caring skills, communication and professional growth within our family-run business.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Health & Social Care or care certificate is desirable.
• Previous experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of leading a team is an advantage.
• Committed and organised approach.
• Confident communicator with good verbal and written skills.
• Flexible to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development and participate in training.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote resident safety.
• Provide evidence of any untaken training.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Support residents with personal care and daily activities.
