Job summary

Buckland Care in Fareham is seeking compassionate care staff to join the team as care assistants. You will work with vulnerable adults, helping them live fulfilling lives by supporting their daily routines, including personal care and emotional support.

The role requires a warm personality, good English, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. No formal qualifications are required, although NVQ 2/3 or similar is beneficial, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required although Care Certificate or NVQ 2/3 (or equivalent) is beneficial.
• A good level of English.
• A warm & friendly personality.
• Able to use initiative.
• Able to work in a team as well as on your own at times.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with washing, dressing, hygiene, feeding, and emotional support.
• Encourage participation in activities and community support.
• Build solid relationships and trust with service users.
