No prior experience is required as full induction and training are provided. You will communicate effectively, be adaptable to a range of duties, and uphold residents' dignity and independence in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
• Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
• Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents in all personal hygiene care to ensure independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls) and escalating risks.
• Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
• Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
