Job summary

Bupa at St Mary's Care Home in Luton is seeking a Care Assistant to join a dedicated team. This permanent, full-time position is based at 19 Dunstable Road, LU1 1BE, with a 44-hour week including alternate weekends and flexible patterns.

You will deliver person-centred care, support meals and hydration, engage residents in activities, and maintain care plans while following regulatory requirements. A Health and Social Care qualification is desirable, with strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Health and Social Care qualification or care home experience.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and document residents' changes per regulations.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration according to care plans.
• Provide stimulation through social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
