Job summary

Bupa's St Mary's Care Home in Luton is seeking a Care Assistant to join a dedicated team. Based at 19 Dunstable Road, the role focuses on person-centred care, companionship, and helping residents maintain independence within a supportive environment.

As part of our team, you'll support nutrition and hydration, assist with daily activities, and document changes to care plans in line with regulations. The position is permanent, full-time, with benefits and a comprehensive wellbeing programme.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous care home experience or Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and document residents' behaviour and changes in line with required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs according to care plans.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities, group and individual.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
