Job summary

Cornerstone Healthcare Group is seeking dedicated Care Assistants for our 63-bed home, Knocks? House, to provide compassionate, person-centred support in a UK care setting. The role requires at least one year’s experience in a nursing home, working with residents with dementia and complex needs.

You will assist with personal care, meals, activities and daily living while maintaining dignity and choice. Competitive shifts available and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s experience in a nursing home caring for residents with dementia or complex needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• A caring, empathetic approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care routines in a respectful manner.
• Encourage participation in social activities and hobbies.
• Assist at mealtimes and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Notice and report changes in wellbeing or behaviour.
• Promote dignity, privacy and resident choice at all times.
