Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist a gentleman with brain injury at his home in East Preston (BN16, West Sussex). You will provide daily living support, participate in physiotherapy and hydrotherapy activities, and help with overnight tasks under training.

The role offers day shifts (8:00am–8:00pm) on a flexible zero-hours contract with regular client contact. Benefits include holiday pay, ongoing training via the Active Learning Hub, and a Nest Personal

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and compassion for clients with complex needs.
• Able to communicate with a client who has limited speech.
• Flexible and reliable with shift patterns.
• Works well in a care team to plan consistent support.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with physiotherapy sessions and hydrotherapy in the home pool.
• Perform overnight clinical tasks as required with full training provided.
• Work on Day Shifts 8:00am–8:00pm on a flexible, ongoing basis.
