Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant at Courtland Lodge Care Home in Watford to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents. The role offers flexible hours under a flexible/bank contract, with shifts from 7.30am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9.30pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will support residents with personal care, meals and daily activities, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and follow individual care plans while upholding dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Empathy and a positive attitude are essential.
• Commitment to meeting physical, emotional and social needs of residents.
• Induction training and ongoing development opportunities are provided.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Must be aged 18 years or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and assist with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Assist residents with daily activities to promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow individual personalised care plans.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high quality person-centred care.
