Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Stroud and Cirencester. You will support clients with daily living, work independently or as part of a supportive team, and provide high-quality, dignified care in their own homes.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required or access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate and calm approach to care.
• Strong communication and ability to build relationships with clients.
• Ability to follow approved care plans and deliver consistent care.
• Care experience is beneficial but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meals, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework and maintain cleanliness.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.
