Job summary

Bluebird Care Worcester and Wychavon is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes. You will deliver personalised daily living assistance, ensuring comfort, dignity and safety with each visit.

Join a team that provides full induction, ongoing expert training, and flexible shifts. You’ll work either independently or as part of a supportive team to set the standard in home care. DBS checks and references are handled in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Calm, compassionate attitude and a patient approach to care.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person's needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers in care.
