Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant to provide daily support with personal care and daily living tasks for residents. You will assist with toileting, washing, transfers, and domestic duties, ensuring dignity and privacy at all times.

You’ll also contribute to up-to-date client records and comply with health and safety standards. Hours include weekday shifts from 7am to 2:30pm, 2pm to 10pm, and alternate weekends; these shifts are compulsory.

Qualifications

• Assist with personal care duties and maintain client dignity and privacy.
• Maintain essential records with brief notes on client records.
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements for manual handling and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties including toileting, washing, transferring.
• Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Support clients while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Participate in record keeping on individual client records.
