Job summary

Care Dorset Limited is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support adults across our care settings. You will help with personal care and daily living tasks, while upholding dignity and privacy for the people we support.

Shifts include weekday 7am–2.30pm, 2pm–10pm and alternate weekend shifts. Applications from a sensible commuting distance will be considered. We offer generous leave and development opportunities, plus benefits such as Blue Light discounts and an Employee Assistance Programme.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties including toileting, washing and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Support clients in a way that maintains dignity and privacy.
• Maintain essential records with brief written entries on client records.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements for manual handling, transfer hoisting and infection control.
• Work within the Gold Standards Framework.
• Hours include weekday shifts 7am to 2.30pm, 2pm to 10pm and alternate weekend shifts. These are compulsory.
