Job summary

Bluebird Care Leeds North is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients at home. You will work within the Care Expert Team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and help clients live independently with dignity.

You’ll receive expert training, a full induction, and flexible shifts. A UK driving licence and vehicle access are required, with mileage allowances and 24/7 support from a caring team.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
• Paid travel time and mileage allowance
