Job summary

Nouveau Care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for Holt, Norfolk, to provide compassionate care in care homes and nursing settings on a part-time basis. You will support residents with daily living tasks, monitor health, and work closely with the nursing team to ensure high standards of care.

Flexible shifts include days, nights and weekends, with competitive hourly rates and weekly pay. Previous care home experience is desirable and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to work flexibly in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support mobility needs and use equipment safely.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report residents’ health and well-being to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing teams, residents and families to deliver high standards of care.
