Job summary

Nouveau Care is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support care homes and nursing homes across Thetford, Norfolk, UK. You will work as part of a caring team, delivering high-quality personal care and companionship to residents.

Flexible day and night shifts, weekly pay, and ongoing training are available. Previous care home experience and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care are valued; compassionate and reliable candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
Minimum Of 6-12 Months Care Experience.
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Monitor and report on residents’ health and well-being to nursing staff.
Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.
