Job summary

Nouveau Care is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support care homes and nursing homes in Diss, Norfolk, UK. This part-time role offers flexible shifts across days, nights, and weekends with ongoing placements and weekly pay.

You will work as part of a compassionate care team, delivering high-quality, person-centred support, recording care activities, and collaborating with nursing staff and families to maintain residents' comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–12 months care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility needs and use equipment safely.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report residents' health and well-being to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing teams, residents, and families to maintain high care standards.
