Job summary

Prime Life is seeking compassionate Bank Care Assistants to join Hawkhurst Residential Home in Blackburn. This role offers 7-day shift patterns between 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am, with hourly pay between £12.96 and £13.32 depending on qualifications. Interviews are available soon with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to make a difference for residents.
• Dementia understanding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing for the day, or retiring to bed for the evening.
• Support residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage residents to mobilise safely around the home, with mobility aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete documentation.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team and engage with other care professionals to promote health and wellbeing.
• Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.
