Job summary

Prime Life is seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Night Care Assistant. Roles are available on a full or part time basis at Hawkhurst Residential Home in Blackburn, Lancashire, with shifts from 8pm to 8am across a 7-day week.

We offer competitive hourly rates (£12.96–£13.32), fully funded DBS, comprehensive holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme of up to £250.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Full training provided; prior care experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and getting ready for bed.
• Carry out routine welfare checks during the night to ensure safety.
• Support residents with dining and hydration as required.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment where needed.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain clear, timely records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote well-being.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
