Job summary

Ray's Healthcare is seeking experienced care assistants to join a leading care provider in the local area, working in a care home setting in Keighley. You will be part of a supportive team caring for adults with complex needs.

Duties include supporting personal care, assisting with mobility, contributing to care plans and risk assessments, and promoting residents' independence. Shifts include days and nights; ongoing temporary role with competitive pay from £12.82 per hour.

Qualifications

• UK care experience of 12+ months.
• Trained to use hoist and rotunda.
• Caring, compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and keep records.
• Flexible approach and sensitive to residents' needs.
• Ability to form positive relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• To create a home environment that exceeds the needs of the adults, enabling them to develop their characters, feel safe and enrich their lives.
• To provide a stimulating environment, implementing educational, personal and social development of the adults
• Contributing to the resident's care plans and risk assessments
• Support residents with personal care and manual handling
• To meet the emotional and physical needs of our residents and maximise opportunities for their development
• Promote independence and support residents with daily tasks
