Job summary

Ray's Healthcare is seeking experienced care assistants to join a leading provider in the Leeds area, working in a care home with adults who have complex needs. You will be part of a team delivering person-centred care and supporting daily living in a residential setting.

The role requires at least 12 months UK care experience, hoist/rotunda training, and a caring, empathetic mindset. Shifts include days and nights, with a pay rate from £12.82 per hour. This is an ongoing temporary role in Leeds.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of working experience within care setting in the UK.
• Trained to use hoist and rotunda.
• Caring, compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and keep records.
• Flexible in approach and sensitive to residents.
• Ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Create a home environment that exceeds the needs of the adults, enabling them to develop their characters, feel safe and enrich their lives.
• Provide a stimulating environment, implementing educational, personal and social development of the adults.
• Contributing to the resident's care plans and risk assessments.
• Support residents with personal care and manual handling.
• Meet the emotional and physical needs of our residents and maximise opportunities for their development.
• Promote independence and support residents with daily tasks.
