Job summary

Skycare is hiring Healthcare Assistants to support residents in home care, private sector, and supported living settings. You will work under the Registered Manager to provide dignified, person-centred care, promoting independence and well-being.

The role requires 3-4 shifts per week with weekends included. Must be over 18, with right to work in the UK and no sponsorship provided. DBS and reference checks apply.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory DBS/Police Check and POVA List checks where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assist with daily living activities (washing, dressing, meals).
• Support residents with mobility and continence.
• Record daily care notes and follow care plans.
• Respond to Nursecall system and visitor needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
