Job summary

Qualifications

• Good English (written and verbal) required.
• Proficient written skills to maintain care plans and care records.
• Excellent communication to build rapport with residents and staff.
• Strong problem-solving to address issues quickly and appropriately.
• Ability to assist residents with daily tasks per their care plan.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery and respect their wishes.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
• Support residents to maintain relationships and connections with their community.
• Follow care plans and other supporting information regarding residents.
• Inform the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in a resident's needs.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of those being supported.
