Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months UK care assistant experience
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• DBS and Reference checks required
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, continence management, feeding, and mobility.
• Support individuals with social activities, emotional wellbeing, and promotion of independence.
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and any changes in condition.
• Assist with medication administration where trained and authorised.
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and implementation of care plans.
• Accurately document observations, updates, and progress.
• Ensure infection prevention and control procedures are followed.
• Use manual handling equipment safely and assist with safe transfers.
• Safeguard vulnerable adults and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, senior carers, multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals.
• Review and contribute to individual care plans.
