Job summary

Completely Care Recruitment Consultants Ltd in Pontypool is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our expanding agency team. You will deliver high-quality personal care across care homes, nursing homes, and supported living settings, while supporting residents with daily living tasks and promoting independence.

We require a minimum of 6 months UK care experience and strong moving/handling skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months UK-based care experience.
• Practical experience in moving and handling.
• Caring, dependable and professional approach to work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to service users.
• Assist with moving and handling activities in accordance with care plans and health and safety guidelines.
• Administer medication safely and in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• Support residents with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Observe, monitor, and accurately record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow individual care plans.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
