Job summary

Meallmore is looking for a friendly Dayshift Care Assistant to support residents with daily living tasks and companionship. You will help with washing, dressing and meals, promote independence, monitor health and liaise with families.

The role offers stability, training and a rewarding environment in a close-knit team. Salary is £13.45–£13.50 per hour, 23–46 hours per week, with benefits including sick pay, parking and access to Wagestream.

Qualifications

• SVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
• Full funding and support to achieve this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including washing, dressing and meals.
• Promote independence and wellbeing of residents.
• Monitor health conditions and liaise with relatives and staff.
• Support residents in activities, tailoring care to individual needs.
