Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Care Assistant for a luxury care home in the Norden area of Rochdale. You will provide personal care, support daily living activities and help residents living with dementia in a safe, compassionate environment.

The role offers 12-hour day or night shifts, competitive pay of £12.71 per hour, and time-and-a-half on bank holidays. Join a dedicated team committed to dignity, comfort and residents' individual needs.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for supporting older people.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect and kindness.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Willing to follow care procedures and safeguarding guidelines.
• Experience in elderly or dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and maintain residents' hygiene and dignity.
• Assist with oral care and daily living activities.
• Support safe moving and handling, including hoists.
• Assist with care plans and monitor residents' needs.
• Support medication rounds in line with training and procedures.
• Promote good nutrition and hydration.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow infection control procedures.
• Assist with supper and evening refreshments.
• Help residents prepare for bed and ensure comfort at night.
• Provide compassionate support to residents living with dementia.
• Report changes in residents' health or wellbeing.
