Job summary

Tasks include assisting with washing, dressing, bathing, feeding, and coordinating with staff. You may attend training and support with medication administration as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to demonstrate competence to carry out the job.
• Ability to demonstrate capability to gain relevant certificates of competence where applicable.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• May be required to undertake a lower graded role as appropriate.

• Exchange routine information with members of the public; or
• Carefully use expensive equipment; or
• Handle and process information; or
• Instruct, and check the work of, others; or
• Provide personal care and support to older people including those with dementia.
