Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join an established care home team in a role focused on elderly care, including dementia-related needs. The position emphasizes compassionate support, daily living assistance, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.

Applicants should have an Enhanced DBS (or be able to obtain one), relevant mandatory training, and at least 3 months’ care experience with a two-year referenceable work history.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate or ability to obtain one within the facilities budget (£49.50)
• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates in Infection Control, Safeguarding, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a Care Setting
• Two-year referenceable work history
• Outgoing personality and a true passion to improve residents' quality of life

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and ensure hydration and comfort
• General housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning of client rooms
• Observe and report clients' conditions using company reporting systems
• Comply with health and safety policies in a professional manner
