Job summary

Qualifications

• A caring, warm-hearted nature and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, reassuring presence.
• Willingness to learn (experience in care is great, but not essential—we provide full training).
• Respect, reliability, and the ability to be present, even during life’s tougher moments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care that honours dignity and individuality
• Support residents with daily living tasks including washing, dressing, mobility and meals
• Build meaningful, trusting relationships with residents and families
• Spot the small things—mood changes, unspoken needs, quiet triumphs—and respond with empathy
• Work closely with your team to ensure every shift runs smoothly, safely and supportively
• Keep accurate records and contribute to care plans that reflect who each resident truly is
