Job summary

Windmill Lodge Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant in Lytham St Annes. You will provide person-centred care, support residents with daily living, and help maintain dignity and wellbeing in a warm team environment.

The role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development. Expect to work alternate weekends on a 36-hour week, with DBS pension and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Make a meaningful difference in residents' lives and deliver high quality, person-centred care.
• Support daily living activities: personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment.
• Open to applicants with or without prior care experience, with full training and ongoing development.
• Be available to work alternate weekends.
