You will assist with daily tasks, medications and personal care while encouraging engagement in the community and using social stories to aid understanding.

The role requires calm, confident, and resilient staff who can set boundaries and redirect calmly during challenging periods.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication is highly valued.
• If you lack a formal qualification, you will need relevant social care experience.

• Support with medication administration, personal care, shopping, cooking and everyday tasks.
• Promote independence using social stories and support with community engagement.
• Provide calm, reassuring support to a 30-year-old man with autism and learning disability in his home in Broxburn.
