Nellsar’s Lulworth House Residential Care Home in Maidstone is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead weekly activity programmes, create engaging newsletters, and support residents' wellbeing.

You will join a compassionate team, receive ongoing training and progression opportunities, and benefit from enhanced pay on bank holidays, DBS paid for by the company, and funded qualifications via our apprenticeship programme.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and caring attitude focused on residents’ wellbeing.
• Willing to participate in on-going training and progression opportunities.
• Ability to plan and organise weekly activity programmes within budget.

Responsibilities

• Organise and plan weekly activity programmes and update activity boards.
• Create risk assessments for activities and obtain necessary consents.
• Produce newsletters to inform residents and relatives about activities.
• Assist residents to access the internet and other communication methods.
• Support residents to participate in activities while respecting privacy and dignity.
