Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a reliable Personal Support Assistant for a 1-to-1 SEN and epilepsy care role in Dunstable. You will follow a structured daily timetable, administer medications as needed, and provide safe transport to a daily work placement.

The role requires patience, punctuality, and the ability to maintain consistent routines. A DBS check is funded by the employer, and a valid driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven 1-to-1 experience with SEN young adults or health/social care settings.
• Trained in Epilepsy Awareness and Administration of Rescue Medication or willing to undertake training before start.
• Driving licence with access to reliable vehicle.
• Punctual, calm under pressure, organized, patient, and proactive in maintaining routines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily routine from morning to evening.
• Administer daily oral medication and monitor for seizures; log activities.
• Provide safe transport to work placement and activities (8:00 AM start and pickups).
• Offer continuous 1-to-1 supervision and support at the workplace.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in line with dietary needs.
