Job summary

Prospero teaching is seeking a part-time tutor to provide KS1/KS2 numeracy and literacy tutoring. You will work flexibly in the community or at pupils' homes, delivering personalized, nurturing lessons to vulnerable or disengaged learners and building routine.

The role requires patient, empathetic support, ability to create learning plans for 1:1 sessions, and eligibility to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS. Start date ASAP; contract is temporary/ongoing with hours to suit families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references

Responsibilities

• Deliver numeracy and literacy tutoring in KS1/KS2
• Create and deliver learning plans for 1-to-1 sessions
• Support pupils to re-engage with education and establish daily routines
