Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Numeracy & Literacy Tutor to support KS1/KS2 pupils in the community or at pupils' homes. This part-time, temporary role requires delivering personalised lessons and engaging students who are vulnerable or disengaged.

Start ASAP with ongoing hours to suit family schedules, £25 per hour and DBS clearance required. Candidates must have right to work in the UK and be able to provide two professional references.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring KS1/KS2 and working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
• Ability to create and deliver learning plans on a 1-to-1 basis.
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references required.

Prospero teaching is currently looking for a tutor experienced in providing tuition to KS1/KS2 students, using a flexible creative and nurturing approach. You will be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at risk - students in the early years of their educational journey. The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.

It is Prospero's mission to deliver high quality and engaging support to young people across the UK. As such, we are looking for a tutor who can offer personalized, enjoyable lessons whilst being re-engage these students into education and bring structure into their daily routine.
