Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a KS1/KS2 tutor to provide tailored tuition with a flexible, creative and nurturing approach. You will support vulnerable and disengaged pupils in their early educational journey, delivering learning plans on a one-to-one basis.

The role covers community or pupils' home settings, is contract/temporary, part-time with start ASAP, and hours vary to fit family schedules. Applicants should have QTS or tutoring experience and be able to work within the UK system.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide tuition to KS1/KS2 students with a flexible, creative and nurturing approach.
• Create and deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.
• Engage vulnerable/disengaged pupils and re-engage them into education.
• Adapt sessions to meet individual family timings and needs.
