Job Description

£13.05–£13.55/hr (incl. holiday) | Drivers Only | Flexible Hours

Got a car and a caring nature? Turn a few spare hours into something meaningful.

At Home Instead, we’re looking for people in the Exminster area who want to support older adults with thoughtful, unhurried home visits. This isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to make someone feel seen, valued, and supported.

Here’s what you might do in a typical visit:

  • Share a cuppa and conversation

  • Pop to the shops or help with a home-cooked meal

  • Offer a bit of help with washing, dressing, or medication reminders

  • Be a familiar, trusted face who helps someone stay independent and confident at home

What makes this role special?

  • You’re matched with regular clients — no rushed visits, no strangers each day

  • You choose hours that fit around school, family, or other work

  • You’ll receive full, paid training and support from a close-knit local team

  • You’ll earn between £13.05 and £13.55 per hour, with holiday pay included

  • All your visits will be local — no long commutes, just community-focused support

You must drive and have access to a car — our clients rely on you getting to them safely and on time.

Whether you're returning to work, switching careers, or just looking for a few hours of meaningful connection each week, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

Let’s have a chat. We’d love to welcome you to the team.
