Job summary

A community-focused wellbeing organization in the United Kingdom seeks a Garden and Volunteer Wellbeing Coordinator to manage a community garden project. The coordinator will design programs that enhance the wellbeing of the community, recruit and manage volunteers, and ensure the garden operations are safe and effective. This is a permanent, part-time role with a salary of £24,980 pro rata.

• Experience of working/learning in a horticulture environment.
• Experience of supporting volunteers and staff.
• Experience of developing creative wellbeing activities.

Responsibilities

• Project manage the enclosed garden space.
• Develop a programme of activities for community wellbeing.
• Recruit, develop and manage volunteers.
• Ensure garden operations are well-organised and productively managed.
• Lead the development of land and facilities.
