A community-focused wellbeing organization in the United Kingdom seeks a Garden and Volunteer Wellbeing Coordinator to manage a community garden project. The coordinator will design programs that enhance the wellbeing of the community, recruit and manage volunteers, and ensure the garden operations are safe and effective. Ideal candidates will have horticultural knowledge, great organizational skills, and the ability to inspire community involvement. This is a permanent, part-time role with a salary of £24,980 pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience of working/learning in a horticulture environment.
• Experience of supporting volunteers and staff.
• Experience of developing creative wellbeing activities.

Responsabilités

• Project manage the enclosed garden space.
• Develop a programme of activities for community wellbeing.
• Recruit, develop and manage volunteers.
• Ensure garden operations are well-organised and productively managed.
• Lead the development of land and facilities.
