Job summary

Ideal for All in Sandwell is seeking a Horticultural/Community Health and Wellbeing Officer to lead therapeutic gardening and health initiatives for disabled and vulnerable people. You will deliver engaging activities, open days, and practical sessions that boost confidence, health, and social inclusion.

The role requires practical horticulture experience, a UK driving licence, and a commitment to accessible programmes across our sites, with a salary of £25,878–£27,148 per year FTE depending on

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture, gardening in the community or commercial settings.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle for business use.
• Upper Secondary education/Qualifications Level 2 or above (e.g. GCSE, NVQ Level 2, CSE).
• Evidence of interest in Horticulture, Healthy Lifestyle.
• Basic cooking skills with children, families, vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead therapeutic horticultural activities and community engagement sessions.
• Support the planning and delivery of accessible and safe programmes across sites.
• Keep accurate records of activities and involvements and monitor participant progress.
