Job summary

The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Community Therapy Team Leader (NHS AfC: Band 7) based in Lancaster. You will provide operational and clinical leadership to the community therapy team, supporting patient-centred care across community settings.

Working with senior managers and clinical colleagues, you will ensure safe, effective services, drive service improvement, and contribute to workforce planning and transformation across community

Qualifications

• HCPC registration or NMC registration where applicable.
• Significant post-registration experience within community services.
• Experience leading or managing teams.
• Experience of service improvement and change management.
• Experience working within integrated community services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and professional leadership to the community therapy team.
• Lead, motivate and support multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure effective management of patient flow, caseload allocation and service demand.
• Monitor and improve service performance against key performance indicators and waiting time targets.
• Manage staff recruitment, appraisal, supervision, attendance and performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, learning and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, clinical governance requirements and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Support workforce planning and service development initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with primary care, social care, acute services and voluntary sector partners.
• Contribute to strategic planning and transformation programmes across community services.
