Job summary

Generic Therapy Support Worker - North Cornwall, Band 4, 23 hours per week, based in Bodmin. The role sits within the North Cornwall Community Rehabilitation Therapy Team and encompasses both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy work.

The post emphasizes development through competencies, in-service training, and joint work with experienced staff. We seek a reliable, flexible professional who can develop assessment and care planning skills while working in a dynamic MDT.

Qualifications

• Good general education to GCSE or equivalent.
• IELTS or English language qualification as stated.
• NVQ 3 or relevant experience in the field.
• Evidence of recent study in Anatomy and Physiology.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and discharge plan patients under OT/PT guidance.
• Interpret information to identify needs and set realistic goals.
• Maintain organisation and manage caseload across settings.
• Travel to different locations with a valid UK driving licence.
• Work within an MDT with therapists and support staff.
