Vale of Glamorgan is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities, enabling participation in community day opportunities and at the service base. The role includes driving duties and personal care, with duties set to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in Barry, Wales.

You will need a valid manual driving licence (2+ years) and an enhanced DBS check. Training and supervision will be provided, and reports maintained as part of role responsibilities.

Qualifications

• DBS check required: Enhanced & Barred Adult.
• Full valid driving licence covering manual vehicles for at least 2 years and aged 21 or over.

Responsabilités

• Support individuals with a learning disability to participate in meaningful day opportunities in the community and at the service base.
• Perform driving duties to transport individuals safely to activities as per their person-centred plans.
• Assist with personal care and health needs of individuals.
• Maintain records and help to compile reports.
