Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a Support Worker in Stirling to provide person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities across community residential services. You will work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepovers, as part of a small team, to support service users in daily living and local community activities.

Applicants should be committed to dignity and respect, with SVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care desirable and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council;

Qualifications

• SVQ level 2/3 Health & Social Care is desirable; training will be provided to achieve SVQ.
• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council is required.
• Provide person-centred care and support in daily living.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with a learning disability to live in their own home and participate in daily living activities.
• Work as part of a small staff team to deliver high-quality care.
• Demonstrate dignity and respect and contribute to meeting service users' needs and aspirations.
