Job summary

AA Euro Group is seeking Support Workers to join their agency team in Carlisle, Cumbria. Flexible daytime shifts (08:00–20:00) are available, with regular hours across community-based services and competitive hourly rates.

Ideal candidates will have prior care experience, a patient, person-centred approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Agency workers can benefit from ongoing opportunities and dedicated recruitment support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or within a similar care environment.
• A caring, patient and person-centred approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care and support to individuals within the community.
• Supporting service users with daily living activities and maintaining their independence.
• Following individual care and support plans.
• Supporting individuals with appointments, activities and community engagement.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation.
• Working effectively alongside colleagues and other professionals.
• Promoting dignity, choice, independence and safeguarding at all times.
